  Mentor   Information

Some ACDS students require mentors. ACDS mentors serve as supervisors for apprentices that do not have direct supervisors, such as family providers and directors. Mentors are contracted for their services. Mentors must be an ACDS journeyperson or have a minimum of a BA in early childhood education or closely related field. If you are  interested in becoming a mentor, review the job description below. The application is also linked below. New mentors are required to complete a one hour training on mentoring for the ACDS program. The training is available on WV STARS, www.wvstars.org. Only approved mentors will receive credit for completing the training.
